The Bobby Anti-Pickpocket Backpack is a bag that most consider great and I partly agree.
The exterior of this bag is really great, it's functional, sits nicely on your back and the bag looks good. However, (just like with women) it's all about the inside!
Let's start positive first, the bag looks great and because of the anti-pickpocketing features you feel safe(er) with this bag when you are walking in an amusement park or city center for example.
The two quick-access pockets in the "wings" of the tires offer enough space for a mobile, wallet or other small items you want to reach quickly and the USB connection on the outside is handy for charging your mobile (while taking photos). makes or catches Pokémon).
Unfortunately, this bag does not offer a RIFD save pocket, something the hidden pocket on the back could be used for. This is larger for your passport, for example.
But as I said in the intro, it is ultimately about the inner self and unfortunately we do not match on this.
The design of the hidden, anti-pickpocket zipper of the main compartment is recessed so that you lose a large part of the net content of the bag. This design also makes it (slightly) less easy to quickly get something out of your backpack, but I don't think that's a negative.
So you lose some content, but the layout of the compartments for your laptop/tablet, the compartments on the bottom and the pouch at the top ensure that you can put very little in this bag and you are very limited in what you can take with you. take in this bag.
For example, hardly a single ring binder or notepad fits in it. Certainly not if you also want to take a small lunch box or bottle of water (500ml) with you. Or 3 funko dolls in box will no longer fit. Also the pencil case at the top is very small, 1 highlighter and 2-3 pens is already too much unfortunately.
Now I realize that I am old fashioned with my ring binder and pens and that this bag is designed for your digital tools. Nothing more, nothing less. Especially nothing more...
For me, the space in the bag is too limited for what I want to use it for and that means I will return this bag. Which I secretly regret!
Conclusion, this bag is not recommended if you want to take more than what is specifically intended for this bag. However, if you are looking for a safe bag for your small laptop and some peripherals, then this bag is definitely recommended!
ps. I am aware that it is called an anti-theft bag. However, this bag only offers features to prevent pickpocketing such as the hidden zippers and anti-cut layer. This bag offers no possibility to tie it to a chair with a lock, to prevent someone from quickly taking it away.
