I use it for running and cycling and so far it does almost everything fine, GPS connection works quickly and accurately for me, I tested it with my phone (S7) with Samsung Health app and then simultaneously with both the Runkeeper and the Endomondo app . The distances did not differ much, at 10 km approx. at most 100 meters. You don't need to bring your phone for this, the watch can be done by itself, the data will still be synchronized when you get home. Works great via bluetooth with the Samsung Health app. The only downside I think is that the route animation of your round is not always synced to your phone, sometimes it does not. Furthermore, all the data you want will be sent to your phone. You can even control Philips Hue lamps with it (paid app) and Spotify. It also has an altimeter, sleep tracking (a nice widget), SVoice, a calendar clock, world clock, etc. Functions such as pedometer, walking stairs and calorie consumption do not interest me.
