The USB hub is very practical, you can just connect your keyboard, mouse and any temporary USB devices to the screen. Only 1 USB cable goes to your laptop/PC, so it's perfect. The only thing that would have been nice was an audio jack in the monitor itself. Since the monitor has no built-in speakers and there is a good chance that you want to connect external speakers, this would have been a nice feature. Unfortunately, the jack still has to be plugged into your laptop/PC.
The controls on the monitor feel solid and the menus are easy to use. Switching input is very easy.
