According to our monitor expert
Thanks to the >144Hz refresh rate, gameplay is smoother than at 75Hz.
This monitor can be adjusted in various ways for a pleasant position when you're gaming.
You won't need separate speakers anymore, thanks to the integrated speakers.
The TN panel is fast, but it doesn't display colors as well as an IPS panel.
The AOC G2790PX is a monitor for novice gamers. Thanks to the 144Hz refresh rate, even fast moving images in games like Battlefield are displayed smoothly, which makes the screen suitable for shooter fanatics. Thanks to the AMD FreeSync, graphics remain smooth even when you run games on a lower frame rate. The screen has a response time of 1 millisecond, which ensures you won't be bothered by ghosting in fast-moving images. Thanks to the screen's thin edges, you can line up two of these monitors without getting a line in the center of your image. The screen is matte, which reduces reflections. You can adjust this monitor's height and rotate or tilt it to make sure you're always comfortable while gaming.

This monitor is a major upgrade if you'd like to get rid of the standard 60Hz, the high refresh rate makes games seem much smoother. Also the “tearing” is a lot less compared to 60Hz and if you use freesync for AMD video cards this will be even less. The minuses I have given are minimal and the blue effect can also be solved by adjusting your color settings a bit. All in all, this is a great monitor for its price and definitely recommended for someone who doesn't want to pay too much for a higher refresh rate.

Besides my MacBook, the image quality is not really sharp. and you can't change the resolution. probably nice for gaming, but for me next to my laptop for business use not quite what I expected. small note: the color red under the screen is Bordeaux instead of fire red as on the Coolblue site.

The installation of this monitor is quite easy, it is a real plug and play! Make sure you always set your 144hz screen to 144hz in the Radeon, Intel, or Nvidia control panel! It will probably be a manufacturing defect for only my model, but unfortunately my second hdmi port is so far from the cut out in the housing that it is impossible to put a cable in it. Unfortunately the menu is also not the best I've seen and sometimes unclear.
Overall and top monitor for what you pay for it!
