According to our television expert
Thanks to the OLED screen, you'll get an image with a high contrast ratio and lifelike colors.
UHD premium provides a high brightness and a broader color range than standard UHD.
Ambilight lights up the wall behind the TV in the colors of the image.
The TV doesn't have a rotatable stand to turn it toward your viewing position.
With the Philips 65OLED803, you can view sharp images with a true-to-life contrast. This 4K television's OLED screen contains pixels that light up individually. As a result, black images are really black. Combined with the P5 Perfect Picture Engine, the TV creates a strong contrast, making subtle colors and black shades extra realistic. Your viewing experience will get an extra dimension, thanks to the three-sided Ambilight technology, which lights up the wall behind the TV in the colors of the image. This looks great, and it'll be calmer for your eyes when you're watching in the dark. If there's nothing on TV, you can open the smart TV functions. Using a clear main menu, you can easily switch between live TV, websites, and apps like YouTube.
After having had a Sony television for years, I was looking for a new 65" television with excellent image quality, good apps, and good user-friendliness, and connection options, and I found it in the Philips 65OLED803, the quality of this TV is really far above comparable OLEDs in the same price category. This television is therefore highly recommended, especially if you also have Philips HUE at home, the integration with HUE makes watching television really a party. Ambilight is already a nice addition, but if you connect the TV to your Philips HUE bridge takes your entire living room HUE lighting along with the film/series or program experience, so you don't really want to get off the couch.
