According to our monitor expert
This monitor has Freesync and is G-sync compatible, which prevents you from interrupting both NVIDIA and AMD video cards.
With a 144Hz refresh rate, you can play games more smoothly than with 75Hz.
This monitor has Freesync and is G-sync compatible, which prevents you from interrupting both NVIDIA and AMD video cards.
The 27G2U has a relatively low brightness of 250 nits, so the screen isn't as clearly visible in brightly-lit or dark rooms.
Full HD can turn out grainy on the 27-inch screen, so choose a QHD monitor for images that are 2 times sharper.
The AOC 27G2U/BK is a 27-inch gaming monitor with a 144Hz refresh rate. With this monitor, you can game in Full HD at high settings. The response time is only 1 millisecond, so the monitor also responds quickly during action scenes. Enjoy the IPS panel's realistic color display and wide viewing angle during gameplay. This monitor has Freesync and is G-sync compatible, which prevents you from interrupting both NVIDIA and AMD video cards. Thanks to the narrow screen bezels, you can easily place 3 monitors side by side for the ultimate gaming experience. You don't need speakers, since they're already built into this monitor.

I come from a 60hz 4K screen, after an upgrade of my PC I also wanted to be able to enjoy a 144hz screen, after a month of research I came to this screen because of an ips screen, 144hz and 27" which is important to me. My goodness what a joy to play at 144hz. I have an Nvidia card and out of the box my card recognizes a 144hz screen, just a matter of setting it up and enjoying smoothness scrolling, gaming and moving your mouse. The buttons at the bottom to operate the screen are not very convenient to use, but AOC has released a piece of software for that so that you can simply set it up in Windows. What is also very nice to experience is your on screen crosshair, I have to say that it is accurate and perfectly placed (shooters) as I mentioned I come from a 4K screen, but I am happy and do not experience this as a step back but 6 step forward!

I've tested this thing hard and it's great. For ips, the black is great. And for gaming there is no ghosting and it has a high refresh rate and 0 input lag. It seems edge lit so there is a bit of ips glow, if you don't want this buy a monitor with FULL ARRAY DIMING or with a VA panel (va has better contrast, worse colors in short).
