Product Expert monitors

The MSI Optix MAG272CQR is a 27-inch monitor for gamers who want to play in high resolution without image stutter. Thanks to the refresh rate of 165Hz, you'll experience every game fluently. The response time of 1ms also contributes to a smooth gameplay, because it prevents ghosting. The QHD resolution ensures razor-sharp landscapes and characters. Do you have an AMD video card? FreeSync will match the fps of your video card to the refresh rate of your monitor. As a result, you'll experience even fast-paced shooters and racing games without tearing and stuttering. You can adjust this monitor in height for a comfortable sitting position during gameplay.

Note: For QHD gaming, you need a powerful video card, such as an NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPU or AMD Radeon RX 5000 series GPU, or an Xbox One X or S.

"Great monitor for gaming, good price."

Daniel Cruz | 30 June 2020

  • Pros:
    Great for gaming
  • Pros:
    Sharp image
  • Pros:
    Freesync
  • Pros:
The curve design really helps in MOBAs like DOTA
  • Pros:
Great for FSP for the high refresh rate
  • Con:
The plugs for signal, audio jacks and so on, are a bit hard to reach, but you don't use them very often anyway.

This monitor is a beast, the image is so vivid and sharp. Also, for gaming the curve design really improves the experience, as a matter of fact I don't think I can use flat monitors again. Some testing videos claim that the HDR is not real because is only 300 cd/m2, but even if that is true that feature is useless compared to the contrast and brightness of this monitor. Something I want to highlight is the Coolblue support, I had an issue with the payment which they solved very easily.

Great monitor for gaming, good price.
