According to our monitor expert
The QHD screen provides an image that is twice as sharp as that of a Full HD screen.
The IPS panel ensures true-to-life colors from every viewing angle.
Via the integrated USB hub, you can connect peripherals like a keyboard or a mouse.
You can't work on multiple devices in split screen mode.
You can watch movies, edit photos, or make digital designs for work with the AOC U2790PQU. This 27-inch monitor has a QHD resolution, which is 2 times sharper than Full HD. Every detail looks incredibly sharp. The brightness of 350 nits allows you to experience vivid colors, even in brightly lit spaces. The IPS panel also displays true-to-life colors from any viewing angle. It's possible to adjust the Q2790PQE in multiple ways, so you can fully adapt it to your wishes. The border around the screen is virtually invisible so you work comfortably with multiple monitors side by side. Via the USB hub, you can connect peripherals such as a mouse or a USB flash drive.
Finally able to receive one after two DOAs which I have now been able to use for over a week. I noticed the monitor mainly because of the low price in combination with. with the design that strongly reminds me of a Dell monitor that I use at work. The image is sharp and the colors are beautifully bright. I connected the monitor to my MacPro via DisplayPort (DisplayPort -> Mini DisplayPort) to get the most optimal signal. If your system has this, I recommend that you always use it.
I have use two of these monitors for application programming. One in portrait mode and one in landscape mode. Portrait mode is possible due to the tilt functionality. However, you have to tilt the screen a bit to turn it 90 degrees, as the foot is just in the way. After tilting you can tilt it back again.
The only downside of this monitor is the on and off button which also functions as toggle the OSD. To turn it off you have to hold down the button/joystick for 10 seconds. With this action you sometimes press wrong where you activate 1 of the quick functions

Ideal screen for a home office. I chose the 2K version for my father's desk because he wanted bigger icons. 4K would then be wasted money, only to put it at 200%.
