The LG 24GN60TP-B.AEU is a 144Hz Full HD gaming monitor for die-hard gamers. This 24-inch screen has a high refresh rate of 144Hz and a low response time of 1ms. This way, you can game without screen tearing or ghosting and beat your opponents, while you enjoy smooth images. In addition, the monitor has an HDMI 2.0 port, so you can also connect the monitor to an Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, or PlayStation 5 up to 60Hz in 1080p. Prefer to game in HDR? No worries, thanks to the FreeSync Premium software, you can synchronize the refresh rate of the monitor with the one from your AMD video card and prevent lags. This software also supports extra accurate synchronization for HDR images. The HDR10 support ensures a high brightness, beautiful colors, and good contrast. This way, your games come to life and you can see better in dark surroundings. In addition, the IPS panel ensures a lifelike color representation, even when you're not right in front of the screen.

My first purchase was very disappointing, the screen had an orange "cloud" in the bottom right corner, the menu lever also felt a bit rickety. I sent that screen back and after some further research it turns out that this monitor can be a bit hit or miss in terms of quality. Finally decided to give it another try and ordered a new set. Both screens are excellent this time. Image is great, no weird effects. The menu stick is also a lot stiffer / firmer. Obviously had a Monday morning model the first time.
27” 1440 is a good upgrade over my previous 24” 1080p. The refresh rate is great (especially with GSync). Image is also a bit sharper and the colors are a huge upgrade (first had TN) in short, very satisfied with it!
Another tip for new owners: if you notice that the brightness seems to fluctuate, the monitor has energy saving turned on by default. Turn it off and it won't bother you anymore.

Ordered for the first time and as indicated here, there was also an orange glow in my screen. Returned and got a new one and the same problem again... Now I read somewhere that 30% of the screens have this problem. Now Coolblue can't do anything about it, but I think that Coolblue should point out to LG that this is not really customer-friendly... LG should check products better before they are scrapped.

So far easy to use and great to play on. I would have liked to see more image quality settings; except that this is available through software for PC (but not in itself).
