Bowers & Wilkins PX8: unprecedented high quality

Premium design with high wearing comfort
Powerful, clear and detailed sound
Good noise canceling
Noise canceling doesn't dampen everything

The Bowers & Wilkins PX8 is Bowers & Wilkins' flagship in the headphones category. These headphones have noise canceling, a premium design and unprecedented high sound quality. Only the noise canceling does not dampen everything.

Premium design with high wearing comfort When I pick up the headphones, I notice the design positively. The headphones are made of premium materials and therefore have a premium appearance. I put the headphones on my head and the soft leather in combination with the deep ear cups ensure a high wearing comfort. I listen to music all day long without the headphones irritating my ears or scalp.

Sound for everyone I've tested many headphones and hardly any model comes close to the sound quality of the PX8. It is powerful, clear and detailed. In dance music, the kick comes through well, while in an Adele song, the details in her voice come out perfectly. This ensures that the headphones are actually suitable for every music genre. I find it a pleasure to listen to music with these headphones.

Good noise canceling The noise canceling is of a good level. A lot of ambient noise is muffled in public transport and in the office, but not everything. For example, talking colleagues can still be heard a little further away. I can't hear what they're saying, but I can hear who's talking. The headphones have less trouble with monotonous sounds.

Simple, effective app In the Bowers & Wilkins Music app I change all kinds of settings of the headphones. For example, I turn the noise canceling off or on, I change the bass and treble via an equalizer and I turn some functions off and on. The app is quite simple and does not have a lot of functions, but with these headphones you don't have to.

There is better, but this is much better than just normal :)

Personally close, clean sound, good bass
Extensive and easy operation, mechanical and in app
The noise canceling dampens very well and with music you are well closed off
the px8 only really comes into its own with a high bitrate. >192kb for electronic music. 320kb instrumental/vocals.

Had a P5 for some time and wanted to go wireless. The PX8 is not a disappointment, is super comfortable, isolates you very well from your environment, large dynamic range where the bit rate difference is very clearly audible
