I tested the Eufy Indoor Cam S350, and was impressed by its excellent motion detection. Thanks to its 2 cameras and 360 degree moving 'head', the IP camera resembles a small robot, which always looks in exactly the right direction.
The installation was quite easy. First I connected the camera directly to my WiFi network. You can easily connect the camera to the Eufy Security app with the QR code on the back of the camera. I already had a Homebase 3 at home, so I tried to connect it. Small point for improvement: for this I had to go through part of the installation process again. Still, I was finally ready to record in less than 10 minutes. I used the camera standing on the table. You can also hang the Eufy with the supplied mounting materials.
I recommend connecting it to a Homebase 3. This way you can let the S350 work with other Eufycams and save images directly on the base station. The supplied SD card is then not necessarily necessary. In addition, the S350 adopts some smart features from the Homebase 3, such as personal recognition and better AI.
I viewed live images via the app and set motion detection as desired. The camera follows movement and provides a notification when desired. The camera has a certain charm, because it looks a bit like a robot. The 2 'eyes' are 4K and 2K lenses. I don't see this much image quality in this price range, and it has the advantage that everything remains sharp when you zoom in.
This camera is suitable for anyone looking for an affordable indoor camera. The camera easily follows a large space, making it ideal for keeping an eye on pets, for example. In addition, you are not tied to a subscription, but you can save images on an SD card or on the Homebase 3
