We have been using the hob for almost half a year, before that we cooked on gas. The design of the hob is nice and sleek and the plate is somewhat larger than comparable plates.
After a period of getting used to cooking on induction and also replacing pans, we continued to have the impression that the plate does not perform sufficiently. This is particularly noticeable when roasting meat at a high temperature and when using somewhat larger pans. We even registered a repair via Coolblue for this. The technician's opinion was that the plate worked correctly.
The hob is wider (70cm) than a regular plate for a 56cm niche. However, the usable space that can be heated is very small, a pan with a diameter larger than 18 will already be outside the cooking area. We have a family of 6, so we cannot manage with small pans. The bridge zone helps a little, but then you miss an available spot on the appliance again.
Since we have passed the 30 days, there is no longer any possibility to return the hob or exchange it for another model. Nevertheless, due to the very disappointing result, we have chosen to buy another hob. We now see in a very short time that another induction hob can meet our user expectations.
It is a pity that we could not return the hob and unfortunately we no longer have any use for the extra cover that we purchased.
