Super nice Apple-ish design with beautiful aluminum elements (new compared to version 1). This aluminum does make it easier for scratches to occur - I am extra careful with it.
It's really a keyboard and not a case: if you drop this, the iPad will most likely just bounce out. So really functional, it doesn't offer 'real' protection.
I personally think there is a disadvantage: with this beautiful keyboard you leave the iPad in it 99% of the time, which means you lose the whole idea of the iPad (which is deliberately not a laptop). You should really see it as an accessory that you click on if you have to type a lot.
