I think the Nikon Z6 III is a very fast camera. When I capture action moments, I am not afraid that my photos will be out of focus. This is because of the good autofocus. The camera has 2 memory card slots. The first slot only accepts a CFexpress or XQD card and not a regular SD card.

Fast camera To test the speed of the camera, I take photos of my dog. A good subject, because he does not sit still. The autofocus is very fast and accurate. I set the subject recognition to animals in the menu. Here I also choose from many other options, such as vehicles, planes and people. I photograph my dog at 120 frames per second. This way I know for sure that the right moment is in between. At this speed I only shoot JPG files. If I want to shoot in RAW, I shoot a maximum of 20 frames per second.

Don't miss an action moment Another useful function to not miss a moment is the pre-release capture. With this, the camera saves the images that it took one second earlier. This is what the camera does as soon as I press the shutter button. This function is also useful if you are photographing a wedding, for example, and do not want to miss any important moments.

Bright viewfinder While taking photos, I notice how bright the viewfinder is. This is a big difference compared to other cameras. The images are very clear and sharp. It is a sunny day, but I hardly notice it. I can easily determine the frame of my photo. Due to the high refresh rate of the viewfinder, the images I see are smooth. Even my dog runs through the image without any hiccups.

Free cloud storage for 30 days What I also really like is the Nikon Imaging Cloud. I connect my camera to the internet and then the camera automatically makes a backup of my photos. The photos are stored in the cloud for free for 30 days. This is useful when I go on holiday. This means I am not afraid of losing my photos. The disadvantage is that I have to remember that my photos disappear from the cloud after 30 days. Through the Imaging Cloud I install 9 extra color profiles on the camera. I use these while taking pictures. For example, I add effects directly to the photos I take, without post-processing them.
