ETNA CM954ZG

The ETNA CM954ZG combi oven offers me many baking options and allows me to quickly reheat leftovers. With 98 automatic programs and 27 oven functions, my dishes always come out just the way I want. Thanks to the hydrolytic function, I spend very little time cleaning. However, I do quickly see greasy fingerprints on the touchscreen.

First Impression I've had the oven in my kitchen for a few weeks now, and I have to say: it looks sleek and is easy to use. The black glass design complements the rest of my kitchen perfectly. When the oven light is off, I can't see through it. The color TFT display is clear to read, even from a distance. The combination of the dial and the touchscreen works surprisingly well: I quickly turn to the right setting and select with a single touch. I do tend to smudge the display with my fingerprints, but I easily wipe them away with a cloth.

Many Baking Options The oven offers me many baking options. It has 27 oven functions, so I always have the perfect preparation time for my food. The automatic programs are also handy when I don't feel like worrying about the time and temperature. The oven has a total of 98 automatic programs, so I have plenty of options. For example, I can choose a program for popcorn, baked salmon, or pizza. The latter also get a nice crispy crust thanks to the oven temperature of 275 degrees Celsius.

Quickly reheat leftovers I mainly use it as an oven, but the microwave setting is also a godsend after a long day at work. At 1,000 watts, the microwave function is very powerful. This way, a bowl of soup is quickly heated up, and I can also put the vegetables from the day before on the table in just a few minutes. I also noticed that the oven doesn't have a turntable. This is convenient, because I can also place a large, rectangular baking dish with lasagna in the oven when using the microwave function.

Easy to clean with hydrolysis I also really appreciate the hydrolysis cleaning function. After a few uses, I turn it on by applying a little water to the bottom of the oven. The steam loosens the dirt, and I just wipe it clean with a cloth. For someone like me, who prefers to put off cleaning rather than do it, this is a real plus.

Wow, what an incredibly beautiful oven. I never thought I'd say this about an oven, but I haven't seen a design like this before. The black glass and no brand markings on knobs that are pressed into the glass. The downside is that we had to replace our 5-year-old Siemens next to it as well. They really weren't a good match. The food in the microwave heats up super evenly, and whereas I had to stir every time with our old one, that's not necessary with this one. It takes some getting used to the extensive menu, but the cooking programs are ultimately my absolute favorite.

This was the only combination oven with so much space. I also chose this brand because my late mother cooked with this brand there too! For years!!!!!!!
