HP Elitebooks have always been relatively expensive. Still, I wanted to give this one a try after a negative experience with an Asus Zenbook. Especially for business use, a laptop simply has to work, and I thought the Elitebook was ideally suited for that.
That suspicion turned out to be correct. This Elitebook is the best laptop I've ever owned. I wanted a laptop that was quiet and could meet all my business needs, but could also be used for personal purposes (e.g., music production). Well, that's certainly possible. This Elitebook is fast, quiet, and doesn't get warm. The connectivity options are plentiful, with three USB-C ports, one USB-A port, and so on. The downside is that the screen can't get incredibly bright (OLED model). If you want that, you're better off with the 800-nits (non-OLED version). Moreover, the built-in DAC isn't sufficient for audiophiles, but an average listener will find the sound through the headphone jack perfectly fine. The laptop is also relatively heavy and bulky compared to modern ultrabooks. But in my experience, ultrabooks are much louder (less heat dissipation), so I'm happy to sacrifice portability for the laptop's quietness and stability.
By the way, my Elitebook was shipped and delivered quickly by De Blauwe Vrienden. There was a hole in the shipping box (not the actual box, thankfully).
In short, I've been very satisfied from the start and can definitely recommend this Elitebook.
