After much hesitation I finally bought an OLED for my PC. The difference with my previous VA screen is enormous. Colors, brightness, and black are on a different level. Ghosting is not present on this screen. The only disadvantage is the location of the connection for the cables. This is located quite close to the bottom, causing the cables to stick out.

I was able to test the MSI MAG 271QPX QD-OLED E2 for a friend for a month before deciding to buy it myself. In this review, I share my findings, specifically focused on PC gaming.
Performance and Image Quality The switch from a 144Hz IPS monitor to this 240Hz QD-OLED panel with a 0.03ms response time is clearly noticeable. Motion blur and ghosting are virtually eliminated, resulting in sharper and smoother image reproduction, especially in fast-paced games. The Quantum Dot OLED panel delivers deep blacks and a wide color gamut (over 99% DCI-P3), combined with 10-bit color support for smooth color gradations. The factory calibration is near-perfect; minimal adjustments in the OSD were required for accurate colors.
Points of concern A minor drawback is text fringing, where faint colored edges are visible around small letters due to the subpixel structure of the QD-OLED panel. However, this is only noticeable with static text and does not affect the gaming experience.
Firmware updates can be problematic, according to various sources. In my experience, with both the screen I know and this one, there have been no issues. Following the instructions on the MSI website is essential to prevent errors. Make sure you use a DisplayPort cable.
The screen is vulnerable to scratches. Therefore, it is important to carefully follow MSI's cleaning instructions and not simply use online cleaning tips, as some of them can damage the screen.
Conclusion Compared to conventional panels, the difference in response time and image quality of the MSI MAG 271QPX QD-OLED E2 is significant. To get the most out of this screen, a powerful graphics card is recommended. This screen is an excellent choice for gamers and I can definitely recommend it.
