You can comfortably perform saw jobs with a radial arm saw with an underframe. For example, you can cut baseboards or laminate at a comfortable working height between 75 and 110cm. The underframe allows you to put the radial arm saw at your desired height. You can also slide out the underframe to about 1 or 2.5m wide, which gives you more space for your material, like long planks. This way, the underframe supports your workpiece well while you’re working. You can also turn the flip-over radial arm saws into a table saw. That's useful as it allows you to cut material lengthwise as well.
