That's because this blood pressure monitor also checks for atrial fibrillation. Because the blood pressure monitor has 2 user profiles, 2 people can use it. Thanks to the 60 memory slots, it stores readings for both people. Is the cuff placed incorrectly on your arm? Then you'll get a notification. This helps prevent an unreliable reading. Note: you don't need the Omron AC Adapter to use the blood pressure monitor. The adapter is an extra if you prefer to use the device without batteries.
