Why should you choose a multi-room system?
Multi-room or multi-room speakers. It might sound familiar, but what is it exactly? What does multi-room do, and why should you opt for multi-room speakers, a soundbar, or a multi-room audio system? I'll gladly explain it to you in this article.
How does multi-room work?
With a multi-room system, you can connect multiple speakers to each other via a WiFi connection and an app on your smartphone or tablet. You could, for example, put speakers or a soundbar in your living room, bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom. Use the app on your smartphone or tablet to easily stream music from your own playlists or from streaming services to all speakers or to 1 speaker in a specific room.
Why should I choose multi-room?
Compared to other speakers that use WiFi to stream, multi-room speakers and soundbars offer a number of advantages:
- You can stream music to each room in your home.
- Control all of your music and speakers via 1 app.
- Easily make a wireless home cinema set; connect both speakers, a soundbar, and a subwoofer to each other via WiFi.
- You can also use your older speakers in combination with multi-room speakers. Connect a separate receiver or amplifier to the audio input of your speaker set and integrate the speakers with the wireless multi-room system.
