What tools do you need to install a fridge?
If you want to build in a fridge, you always need a Torx 20 screwdriver, a drill, and a 2mm diameter drill bit. Your built-in fridge includes a bag with installation material by default. You'll find the necessary screws, plates, and mounts in the bag. Depending on the type of fridge and the brand, you may need some extra tools.
Standard requirements
You always need the following tools to build in a fridge:
- Torx 20 screwdriver
- Drill bit (2mm)
- Drill
In addition, you need some other tools. Which material you need differs per type of fridge and brand. That's why you should always check the included installation manual, so you can make sure you have all of the requirements at home. Below, I'll explain which installation materials are indispensable for AEG, Bosch, Siemens, and Zanussi.
I choose an AEG or Zanussi fridge
Door-on-door system
