What are Philips OLED televisions?
Philips has 2 types of OLED televisions in their assortment. Philips has regular OLED televisions and OLED+ televisions. Both types have the same black levels, but differ in terms of sound quality. In this article, you can read everything on the types of Philips OLED televisions and we'll explain how the OLED technology works.
What's Philips OLED?
Philips OLED televisions display high-contrast images with deep black levels, just like all the other OLED televisions. An OLED screen has millions of individually illuminating and dimmable pixels that produce color. The televisions display truly black images, because the pixels turn themselves off completely. You notice this when you watch a dark horror scene, for example. The light parts of the scene are clearly visible, while the dark parts are really dark. You also don't see a haze around the lights, because the pixels around the lights have been turned off.
What's Philips OLED+?
The Philips OLED+ televisions have the same image quality as the regular OLED televisions, but they differ in terms of design and sound quality. The OLED+ televisions have a built-in soundbar that allows you to enjoy an immersive sound while watching movies and series. This soundbar has been built into the design of the televisions in a stylish way. This makes OLED+ models a real addition to your interior.
Philips OLED televisions
Philips sells 4 different types of OLED televisions. The Philips OLED759 and OLED809 are the regular OLED televisions. These models only differ in terms of design and type of Ambilight. The OLED759 has 3-sided Ambilight and the OLED809 has 4-sided Ambilight. The OLED909 is the OLED+ model. This TV has a built-in soundbar. This way, you can enjoy the best sound quality.
