Wired or wireless?
You can choose between a wired or wireless IP camera. A wireless camera runs on a battery. You can easily place it anywhere, but you do need to charge it occasionally. A wired camera always has power. You connect this type of camera to your fixed wiring or to a power outlet. Make sure you have a good WiFi signal at the location where you place the camera.
