A Dutch oven, frying pan, or saucepan: on the Siemens ET645HN17E there's a place for every pan. The ceramic cooktop has 4 cooking zones with different sizes. The right front zone has 2 rings. When you're using a small pan, only the inner ring is heated, so you never consume too much energy. Put your fish or casserole on the left rear of the cooktop, the oblong large cooking zone. The cooktop has a simple operating menu with touchscreen with which you select 1 of the 17 settings. Have you found the right setting? Use the lock button to lock in that setting and cook the food at a constant temperature.
Note: the required 5-pin Perilex connector is not included. Make sure to order it separately. The connector has to be connected to the cooktop by an electrician, because the connector of each outlet is different.
You can select the Backup Plan below in your shopping cart. It will protect your brand new freestanding cooktop against damage.
