According to our laptop expert
You can use this model as both a laptop and a tablet.
The Quad HD display screen is 4 times more clear than an HD screen.
The built-in kickstand lets you place the Surface Pro at an angle of a maximum 165 degrees to make sketches.
The keyboard has to be purchased separately.
Unlike its predecessor, the Surface Pen isn't included by default.
Purchase the Microsoft Surface Pro if you can't decide between a laptop and a tablet. When you match this model to the corresponding cover, you have a 2-in-1 for text processing, sending emails, and surfing the Internet. Prefer to be more creative? Use the touchscreen to put your wildest fantasies on digital paper. The Quad HD display screen provides sharp images of text and videos, making individual pixels invisible. The battery life is much better compared to the Surface Pro 4, meaning you won't need a socket as often.
This is a 5th generation Surface Pro model.
Note: the keyboard isn't included by default!

In my opinion this product is brilliant! The versatility that this device offers is definitely a godsend for many people.
You would think the 2-in-1 concept is risky. That a device such as the Surface might try to be a tablet and a laptop, and that it is then a less fine version of both. For many 2-in-1s, I think that's definitely a downside, but the Surface is the perfect version for me. As a laptop it is very easy to use, often I find it even more convenient than a normal laptop. It is still a lot lighter and thinner, and the type cover types very smoothly. As a tablet I find it a bit clumsy, but just fine to use on the couch for videos and games etc.
I regularly use the Surface as a tablet to read books and articles for my education and as a sheet music tablet. For both functions, I don't think there is a better tablet (with the exception of the iPad Pro). The 12 inch screen with the 4:3 aspect ratio is ideal for reading because it is approximately an A4 size. With the pen you can easily shade or make notes in the text, which is also essential for a sheet music tablet. The fact that you have your entire PC in the same device is really fantastic!
The extra functions such as writing or drawing on the screen, the two modes (tablet mode and computer mode) and the facial recognition to unlock your laptop work very smoothly. You just turn on the Surface, sit down, and when you look up you're already logged in! :-)
Apart from the functionality, I also think it's a really nice thing. I have the type cover in blue (it was difficult to choose...) and that really makes it a beautiful device to see.
The only drawback I find is the USB port, which unfortunately is only on its own. This can be solved with dongles, but of course you prefer not to have those things with you :)

I really like the surface. Use it for my education, netflixe and have light games on it and this keeps the surface full. Stays fast!
Delicious thing!

It is a beautiful and user-friendly laptop. Even without all the accessories, although I ordered them right away. I am so excited about this laptop.
