According to our laptop expert
The PCIe SSD is much faster than a 'traditional' SSD, meaning shorter loading times.
The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 video card lets you play games on ultra settings and makes this laptop suitable for VR.
The programmable SteelSeries keyboard lets you use multiple keyboard combinations simultaneously to execute different actions while playing games.
Doesn't have a DVD player to play CDs and DVDs.
The MSI GF62VR 7RF-1013NL is a gaming laptop that lets you play games at the highest settings. Visit virtual worlds, because the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 video card has the graphics power to support VR and bring your games to life. Its 15.6-inch size and 2.2kg weight make it easy to take this laptop with you to a LAN party. Outsmart your opponents by using the fast keyboard combinations on the RGB illuminated SteelSeries keyboard. Buffering during a multi-player game will be a thing of the past as Killer LAN eliminates time lags. Boot your games from the PCIe SSD drive and you can start a new killstreak within a few seconds.

Extremely satisfied with the product. I am currently doing an IT training and all the programs required for this run well on the laptop. I can also play with Ultra settings on it. The fan is sometimes a bit loud during gaming, but this is made up for by the performance.

Mixed feelings about purchasing this laptop: Because of my good experiences with MSI, I decided to choose this brand again. After good comparative and preparatory work, this turned out to be the ideal combination. Great value for money, light and just a good laptop.
The latter is certainly true: It's a great laptop, fast and light!
What I forgot to include in my comparison, as these were extremely good in the previous laptop (MSI GP62 6QE Leopard): Screen, sound and case: A sturdy case, a clear screen and two large front speakers with good low tones.
This is actually what I'm missing here. The screen is not optimal. The sound is really a drawback and the laptop housing is made of very light but therefore also vulnerable material.
Let me say: For what you pay you get more than value for money. However, for this competitive price, there are a number of things that have been paid less attention to.
All in all, this laptop gets a 7.8" from me

Laptop is very fast, sleek design and with PCI-e SSD of 256GB, 16GB DDR4 internal and 6GB DDR5 gtx1060 from Nvidia, you can effortlessly run heavy games on Ultramode with high FPS. In addition, a 1TB internal hard drive and you have enough space for the time being.
