According to our television expert
Thanks to the 10-bit panel, this TV lets you watch realistic and colorful HDR images.
The Android TV operating system brings live television, apps, and Internet together in a clear overview.
Ambilight illuminates the wall behind the TV in the colors of the image.
The TV doesn't have a rotatable stand to turn it toward your viewing position.
If you don't want to miss any details in a movie or series, you might like the Philips 55PUS7803. View your favorite 4K or HDR footage and enjoy a sharp display with a broad color gamut. In addition to live TV, you'll have easy access to websites, games, and useful apps like YouTube. The Android operating system gathers all your entertainment in 1 clear menu. Whether you're watching a movie or an online video, three-sided Ambilight provides an extra viewing dimension. This technology lights the wall behind the TV in the colors on the screen.

My opinion is based on having used the device for a good week and compared to the previous Philips device (50pfl5028h/12)
Connecting / assembling the device is a breeze. Only had a problem with the channel search via Ziggo's cable. Tried all the tips for this on the internet.
He did a channel search, but not save. After a lot of messing around and contact with ziggo/coolblue/philips several times, the solution turned out to be very simple. After installing and updating the device, turn off the power completely.
Then there was image.
And then the adjusting of the colors, contrast and brightness, etc. starts. It took about a week to do this. One program was too dark and another moment on another channel too bright.
The previous device was also a smart TV but in comparison to this one pretty stupid.
This device starts up much faster and Android is also a relief.
You can "delete" / disable superfluous apps just like on your smartphone.
The sound leaves something to be desired, although if you choose the option film on, a kind of spatial sound comes out which is acceptable. Connected to a home cinema set that responds perfectly to Arc via HDMI solves the sound problem.
The remote control is large but it fits comfortably in the hand. The keyboard on the back is a godsend when installing when you are asked for email and password.
What is irritating is that with normal use, you have to focus very well on the device.
By default, the ambilight is also very present / bright and you can fortunately dim it as desired.
The color silver..... well..... The border around the statue is not disturbing, but the enormous silver base is. A wall bracket will solve this annoyance.
I am very satisfied with the device and also with the delivery and telephone assistance from coolblue.

The Philips TV has been there for two weeks now and it is getting used to. Ambilight is very nice, the speed of the menu is top and the chromecast is unnecessary because it is apparently built-in.
The only downside is that i.c.w. a PS4 pro and HDR, the TV seems to fall short, which occasionally causes a small hitch. This is not the case without having HDR enabled.
