According to our laptop expert
The platinum Type Cover keyboard is included with this Microsoft Surface Pro.
You can use this model both as a laptop and as a tablet.
The Quad HD display screen is 4 times sharper than an HD screen.
Unike its predecessor, the Surface Pen isn't included by default.
Purchase the Microsoft Surface Pro if you can't decide between a laptop and a tablet. When you buy this model with a matching cover, you'll have a 2-in-1 for text processing, sending emails, and surfing the Internet. Use the powerful Core i7 processor for editing images for your presentations. More the creative type? You can use the touchscreen to transfer your wildest dreams onto digital paper. The Quad HD display screen provides a sharp display of text and videos, without individual pixels being visible. The battery is a significant improvement on that of the Surface Pro 4, which means you won't have to look for a socket as often.
This is a 5th-generation Surface Pro model.
Note: a laptop with an i5 or i7 processor and a thin casing can produce more noise than comparable laptops that have a less powerful processor.
Initially I thought, how expensive is the Microsoft Surface Pro compared to laptops. But now I understand why… The quality of this tablet laptop hybrid is so good that it can last for years. But it is certainly a barrier for people who are used to cheaper products.
The speed of the surface pro is more than sufficient for surfing, office and simple games. Talos Principle, a 3d puzzle game, runs quite well on it!
There are a lot of ghost stories about the performance drops under heavy load due to the cooling system being limited. I have not been able to observe this in practice. Even during games, the processor remained nice in turbo mode (above 2.6GHz) and cooling was not an issue. The tablet also did not become a hob, which is a shame for the chefs among us…
The keyboard is very nice and comfortable to type. The keys have enough "key travel" and soft feedback sound, that it is experienced as very pleasant. Even if you're used to gaming keyboards, this won't be a problem.
Conclusion: Wonderful tablet / laptop hybrid! Don't be immediately put off by the ghost stories of heat dissipation, the speed won't disappoint you. You have to dig into it for a while, but it is well worth it!!!

A very nice device. However, this would not be worth the money without an offer.
