Description

The Fitbit Versa 3 Black motivates you to keep moving throughout the day. Thanks to the integrated GPS receiver, the watch records your sports performance and route in the Fitbit app on your smartphone without having to take it with you. This successor to the Versa 2 has a speaker and microphone as well, so you can enjoy your favorite music or have conversations with your friends everywhere. You can also easily read messages from the razor-sharp AMOLED screen. In addition, the Versa 3 measures your sleep rhythm, which improves your sleep. You can even leave your bank card at home now and pay with Fitbit Pay. Make sure to check the payment limit for large purchases, which differs per bank.

Note: you won't receive a charger adapter. Do you want to charge the watch via a socket? Use the charger adapter of your phone charger or order a one now.

This watch is recommended for a wrist circumference of 15 to 17 centimeters.

"released prematurely, software not fully functional yet."

Kester Ratcliff | 30 September 2020 | Collection color: Black

  • Pros:
    nice smart simple design
  • Pros:
    heartrate monitoring is accurate
  • Pros:
sleep quality tracking is important to me and seems to work well
  • Con:
it's a fitness watch but has no compatible gym app yet!
  • Con:
released before fully functional as advertised
  • Con:
Fitbit tech support not very helpful.

It's a fitness watch, but Fitbit don't make a gym app with gym routines in. Their range of apps by partner companies includes Genius fitness apps, I saw before I bought, but after purchasing and trying to install them, and after emailing tech support a lot, I found out that they're not compatible yet.

Also, Philips Hue is not yet compatible with Versa 3 - I have a medical problem involving insomnia, so I use Philips Hue to set lighting synced to the day-night cycle outside, and it's quite important to me, so I was disappointed that Versa 3 is not yet compatible, although I'd seen in the advertising that Philips Hue works with Fitbit smartwatches - but only some of the older ones, and with the new Sense now.

Why would you release a fitness watch, almost top of the range, at a top price, with no gym app included, and the only gym apps available on Fitbit are not compatible with this device yet, and as tech support reply like as if that was an unreasonable expectation for it to work as advertised immediately after setup, unless you want to p*ss off your customers?!

I returned this one and ordered a second-chance Sense, but then got another email from Fitbit tech support that only the Genius workout app (which has almost just the same functions as the Fitbit Exercise app) is compatible with Sense so far.
