According to our mobile phone expert
This iPhone is smaller than the iPhone Xr / 11 and you can control it with one hand, the iPhone X / Xs / 11 Pro / 12 Pro have the same size.
The device doesn't have a notch anymore, so you have more screen space.
The iPhone 14 Pro is more energy-efficient than the iPhone 13 Pro, which extends the battery life with 1 hour.
The battery doesn't last as long as the battery of the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
A charger and earbuds aren't included, so you have to purchase those separately.
The Apple iPhone 14 Pro 128GB Gold doesn't have a notch anymore. All sensors are now incorporated into a pill-shaped notch called Dynamic Island. This shows you notifications from apps. You can always see your widgets on the useful Always On screen. Thanks to the 48-megapixel standard lens, you can now take even more detailed photos in the dark. In addition, you have a wide-angle and a telephoto lens, which support night mode. This allows you to take even sharper photos in low light compared to the iPhone 13 Pro. Thanks to the powerful A16 Bionic chip and 6GB RAM, the iPhone 14 is superfast. This chip is also very energy-efficient. This means the device easily lasts the whole day. You can store your photos and apps on the 128GB storage. On the bright 6.1-inch OLED screen, you can watch all your favorite series and movies in high quality. Thanks to ProMotion, images are smooth and easier on your eyes. Do you want more screen space? Choose the larger iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Note: Apple doesn't include a charger or earbuds, so use your current accessories or purchase them separately.

With this iPhone, I can take extra detailed photos with the 48-megapixel main camera, and thanks to Dynamic Island, I can quickly operate my apps.
Recognizable design The appearance of iPhone 14 Pro is very similar to iPhone 13 Pro at first glance. The sides are made of shiny steel and the back of frosted glass. The camera on the back stands out, because it is a lot larger than on the iPhone 14. It therefore appears vulnerable, but there are special camera lens protectors for that.
Operate apps with Dynamic Island I see the big change when the iPhone 14 Pro is on. Instead of the notch, I now see the Dynamic Island at the top of the screen. This pill-shaped 'island' surrounds the sensors and the selfie camera. When I connect my AirPods, the Dynamic Island changes and I see a notification and battery status. Furthermore, I see an album cover when I play music and I quickly control my music if I press it for more than 1 second. It is a useful feature, in addition, I have more screen space compared to iPhone 14.
Never miss notifications again This is the first iPhone with an always-on screen. When the device is on my desk, I constantly see the time, incoming notifications and my widgets. That's handy, because that way I don't miss anything. I do notice that the battery drains faster. Fortunately, I can easily turn off the function via the settings.
Additional detailed photos iPhone 14 Pro has an extensive camera. There is a standard lens, wide-angle lens and telephoto lens. With every lens I take sharp and clear photos and videos both during the day and in the dark. If I turn on Apple ProRAW and set the resolution to 48 megapixels, I see details extra sharp. I notice that afterwards when I zoom in on certain parts of a photo.
Battery life for one day When I leave home, the battery is at 85 percent. Travel time to work is about 1 hour and 45 minutes. On the train I constantly listen to music and update my email. I see 60 percent in the office. I rarely use my iPhone at work. Before I travel home, I still have 55 percent. On the way back I watch some movies and listen to a podcast. When I'm home the battery status is at 35 percent. So I use an average of 50 percent battery during a working day.

It's a really good upgrade from the iPhone 8 plus. You also quickly get used to the new layout of a phone without a home button. With the help of iCloud I can also transfer all information from my old phone to my new one. The downside is the high price you pay. I don't have a problem with the fact that it doesn't come with a charging block, but if you didn't have an iPhone before, this can cause a problem.

Really great thing, I've had it for a week now. It works really well and the Dinamic Island is really very beautiful, I always have my phone on dark mode so that makes the Dinamic Island disappear in the background, I find that very nice. It's a pity that the phone is so expensive, I went from an iPhone 11 pro to an iPhone 14 pro and I must honestly say that I already liked the iPhone 11 pro, so the difference is not very big (for my feeling at least). I quickly turned off the always-on screen, I didn't think it had much added value and my phone went blank much faster.
