At Coolblue, we look at the expected amount of large software updates. After the launch of a new iPhone model, the device will receive at least 5 large annual iOS updates. This means the iPhone 14 series will last until 2027. If your iPhone isn't suitable for the newest iOS version, you'll no longer receive updates. You can still use the device, but your iPhone is less secure and some apps will no longer work.
