Nice compact but slow washing machine

Nice compact washing machine with a large washing drum. It can hold a maximum of 10 kilos, but that has not yet been possible in the summer months to get to full weight. The only drawback is that the washing machine has very long programs. By default, the washing time is already 2 hours and 23 minutes and the more you throw in, the more the time increases. A wash/dry program can even take 7 hours and it sometimes happens that not all laundry comes out dry.

Then the only inconvenience that remains is that the on/off button sometimes reacts badly when you press it. Sometimes I have to press it several times to get it to turn on. Maybe it's this machine, maybe it's my fingers, but it's still clumsy.

We're incredibly disappointed with this machine. In terms of construction and looks, it's a beautiful machine and feels solid.

The controls are straightforward and easy to read.

Despite repeated contact with AEG, the detergent dosing system doesn't work or doesn't work properly. We use Robijn detergent, and it's probably too thick (despite AEG claiming it can handle all types of liquid detergent), so we don't use this function because it simply doesn't work, even on the highest setting.

The machine does clean well with detergent in the regular drawer, but it also takes a long time. Combined with drying, this can take up to 7 hours!

All in all, a great machine, but for this price, it really should be better.
