Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic Silver 43mm

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic is a classic and stylish smartwatch with many functions. It fits comfortably on my wrist, but is a bit too big. I operate the watch easily thanks to the rotating ring (bezel) around the screen. Format The Watch 6 Classic is available in 43 and 47 millimeters. I tested the 43 millimeter variant and it is a bit too big for my narrow wrist of 14 centimeters in circumference. We therefore recommend 43 millimeters for a wrist circumference of 15 to 17 centimeters. There is quite a lot of space between the watch and my wrist. Design The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro did not have a rotating bezel, but Samsung has brought this back to the Watch 6 Classic. With this ring I can scroll back and forth smoothly through my apps. The bright AMOLED touchscreen also works smoothly. Because the ring around the screen is a bit higher, I sometimes find it difficult to tap something on the screen with my finger. Short battery life Samsung smartwatches are not known for their long battery life. This also applies to the Watch 6 Classic. Samsung claims 40 hours of battery life, but I have to charge it every day. Otherwise the watch will be empty the next day in the afternoon. This is difficult if, for example, I also want to track my sleep. Then I cannot charge the watch overnight. So I had to get used to taking this into account. The Watch 6 fully charges in an hour, which is fairly fast. Smart functions I install all kinds of apps on this smartwatch, such as Strava, WhatsApp and even games. I read and respond to all my smartphone notifications on my watch. I can type a message myself using a keyboard on the touchscreen. Few smartwatches can do this, so I think that's a great feature from Samsung. Extensive sports measurements I mainly tested the watch while running. The watch accurately measures the time, the route and my heart rate. In the Samsung Health App I find all training data, such as pace, running cadence and heart rate zones. Health and sleep I measure the composition of my body with the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. For example, I measure my BMI and how much muscle and fat mass I have. This gives me insight into my health and sets goals. I also wore the watch while I slept. It accurately measures my sleep phases and how much I move during my sleep. Based on this, I receive advice to improve my sleep.

The watch has only been in my possession for a few days and I am very happy with it. In the screen everything is slightly larger than the 5 Pro that I had before. The operation of the new Wear OS is fairly similar to the previous version, but of course you still have to try everything out. It's nice that the rotating bezel is back. The Watch 6 classic 47mm does work smoothly, just a little faster than the Watch 5 pro. The battery of 425mAh compared to the 5 Pro's 590mAh doesn't really matter to me. Find that they are both empty very quickly, about 2 days without sports, but with continuous heart rate measurement and Display always on off, but the notifications are on with everything. Think that the Watch 6 has more economical chips on board and that it is therefore more economical in its battery consumption. For battery life you really have to go to Garmin and not to Samsung. Also think that with the watch 6 classic it is a missed opportunity that they have not put a larger battery in it. I then have the 4G version and that was a downer at KPN. After contacting them, they said yes, we have multisim and it costs you nothing. So I wanted to try it, which was very easy, by the way, at the end of the settings I ended up with € 5 per month extra on my subscription. Then cancellable again per month. But good option is available if you want to use it. Furthermore, I took it anyway because it is a bit bigger and that the rotating Bezel is back. The straps are also more comfortable on the wrist. Of course you still have to try it out. Find it highly recommended so far and just a bit more attractive than the watch 5 Pro. Is that worth the purchase? I think so.

Nice watch, come from Watch 3 so big step forward. Bio monitoring: heart rate, bmi, blood pressure etc. Really useful.
