With the Wisberg WBDR1BW8NB, I can quickly freshen up worn clothes. With 14 programs, I always have the right program for my laundry, and I can easily save my favorite settings.

First impression The first thing that strikes me is the sleek design. The black door gives the machine a modern and luxurious look. The unit feels sturdy, and the silver rotary knob turns smoothly. Thanks to the LED light next to the knob, I can clearly see which program I am selecting. On the black touchscreen, I can easily choose the dryness level and set whether the dryer signals when it is finished. I also choose here whether I want the drum lighting on or off. Handy, because I don't find it necessary during the day, while I find it a very nice addition in the evening. However, I really have to get used to all the symbols that appear on the screen. The first time, I need the manual to figure out what everything means.

Freshing up laundry Now that the weather is getting nice again, I am taking my summer clothes out of the closet. After more than half a year, it sometimes smells a bit musty, but I think it's a waste to wash clean clothes again. I use the refresh program to reduce musty odors. It's also handy if I've only worn a sweater or blouse for one day during a dinner party. It won't have any stains then and doesn't need to go in the washing machine. This way, I save a wash cycle, which is better for my energy bill and for my clothes. The UV light in the drum also kills bacteria, ensuring my laundry dries extra hygienically.

Many program choices When looking at the programs, I see that there are a total of 14 programs for cotton, synthetic, and wool laundry, for example. There are also specific programs for jeans and bedding. Handy, because I dry those regularly, and this way I know for sure that my clothes will stay looking good for longer. I find ‘My Program’ a nice feature. I save my favorite settings here, such as the dryness level. This way, I don't have to reset the dryer every time, but can choose the right settings right away.

The dryer is easy to maintain I like to keep my dryer energy-efficient. That is why I clean the lint filter and the condenser regularly. I can easily remove the filter, and I also get rid of the loose lint without any difficulty. I do this immediately after every drying cycle so that I continue drying safely. I simply click the condenser open at the bottom. To drain the water, I can connect the dryer to the drain.

Dries quickly and quietly

We had to exchange the first one for another of the same type because of a high irritating beep that the machine produced during drying. The exchanged copy does not suffer from this.
