Coming from a Canon 70d DSLR camera, this mirrorless is a big step forward! Even if you buy this in 2020, it will certainly still be relevant at least for a few more years, at least for the average hybrid user. Mirrorless cameras are the future!

According to our mirrorless camera expert
Thanks to the large zoom range of the 70-300mm telephoto lens, you can photograph far-away subjects.
The camera has a high ISO value and noise reduction, so you can take photos with little noise in low light.
In the Real Time Eye AF mode, the camera focuses automatically on the models' eyes.
The screen isn't fully tiltable forward for vlogs and selfies.
With the Sony A7 III + Tamron 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3 Di III RXD, you can capture many different types of subjects. You receive a 70-300mm zoom lens, which is suitable for sports and animal photography thanks to its large zoom range. Thanks to the backlit CMOS full-frame image sensor, the image processing of the A7 III is fast and high-quality. This sensor is light-sensitive, which lets you take sharp and clear photos and videos.
Zoom lensThanks to the silent and fast autofocus of the lens, you can accurately capture moving objects such as athletes and wild animals. Thanks to the relatively short focal distance of 80cm, you can also photograph subjects such as flowers and insects up close. The lens has a splash proof design, so you can easily take it with you in bad weather conditions.
Fast cameraThe Sony A7 III focuses quickly and accurately with 693 AF points covering 93% of the frame. Real Time Eye AF automatically detects eyes in portraits. Built-in image stabilization lets you take sharp handheld photos, even in low light. You can record videos in 4K at 30 fps or in full HD at 120 fps. With Interval Shooting, you can easily make timelapse recordings of city traffic, for example.
