Bosch WQB246CLNL Iron Assist

After much deliberation, we chose the Bosch WQB246CLNL. It's our first heat pump dryer, and we immediately noticed the difference. The appliance dries at a much lower temperature than a traditional dryer, meaning clothes like my cotton T-shirts (which I wash at 30 degrees Celsius) barely shrink. The Cotton Iron Dry program keeps them looking pristine, and for delicate shirts with prints, I use the Mix or Delicate programs.

The drum is spacious enough for bedding (9 kg), and the laundry comes out surprisingly evenly dry. AutoDry stops the machine as soon as it reaches the desired dryness level, which is helpful because it prevents clothes from getting too hot. The SelfCleaning Condenser reduces maintenance and gives us confidence that the dryer will continue to operate efficiently.

The noise level is reasonable: you can hear it, but it doesn't disturb the house. The controls are clear and perfectly match our Bosch washing machine.

The dryer is easy to operate and quiet when running. The heat pump keeps energy consumption low. The air used by the dryer is also dry, keeping ambient humidity low. Coolblue delivered the dryer quickly. Installation took just one day. Operation is simple. The dryer's status can also be checked via a phone app. Once the drying cycle is complete, the dryer automatically switches off.

A great machine that's easy to use. Our previous dryer was 20 years old. So, practical features like the drum light, the quiet operation, and the clear controls are really nice compared to the old dryer. You also get a notification on your phone when the drying cycle is finished. All in all: perfect!

The app (Bosch Home Connect) isn't very easy to connect. The QR code doesn't work immediately when connecting to the machine. Eventually, after several attempts, it worked.
