A slide-out range hood is a hood range that you can install in a kitchen cabinet and slide out. You pull the slide-oud forwards when you start cooking. Some range hoods with a slide-out automatically start extracting fumes, others you have to turn on yourself. When you've finished cooking, you slide the range hood back into your kitchen cabinet. This way, you can only see the range hood when you're cooking. That is why this type blends in with your kitchen design nicely.
