You recognize a kettle barbecue by its round kettle-shaped lid. Kettle barbecues are easy to use and are suitable to barbecue elaborately with. The large lid ensures that the barbecue works like an oven with hot air. So your meat doesn't just cook directly over the coals, but you also use the heat in the rest of the barbecue. Kettle barbecues are often made of metal, so they don't distribute heat as evenly as ceramic kamado barbecues. Despite this, the heat is retained in the barbecue well and you can easily regulate the temperature thanks to the characteristic lid.
