How do you set up WiFi on your Bosch washing machine?

With the Bosch Home Connect app, you can control your Bosch washing machine remotely. That way, you can easily turn on your wash cycle when you're doing groceries or choose the best cycle for your laundry. When your laundry's done, you'll receive a phone notification. Setting up WiFi on a Bosch washing machine in 5 steps

You can easily set up the Home Connect app on your Bosch washing machine with the next steps:

Step 1: download the app
Step 2: create an account

Step 2: create an account

Now that you've opened the Home Connect app, tap 'add appliance' on your screen. Then tap 'new appliance'. You'll now see a pop-up on your screen. Create an account and fill out your email address. Or log in if you already have a Home Connect account.

Step 3.a: scan the QR code

You can easily add your Bosch washing machine with the QR code on the quick start guide. You can find this guide with the manual of your washing machine. Scan the code with your phone and continue to the next step.

Step 3.b: no QR code? Fill out the type number

Don't have a QR code? No problem. Tap 'I don't have a code' in the app and search for the type number (or E-number) of your washing machine. You can find this E-number of the type plate in the door opening of your Bosch washing machine. Fill out this number in the app and tap 'continue'.

Step 4: set up the washing machine

Now, follow the steps in the app. Turn on your washing machine and press the phone icon on the washing machine display for about 3 seconds. Wait a few minutes until the washing machine is connected. The connection is ready when you see 'Con' on the washing machine display. Then tap 'continue'.

Step 5: connect your washing machine to the WiFi

The last step is to connect your washing machine to the WiFi. Enter the password of your wireless network and tap 'continue' again. You're now done connecting your washing machine and you can control it remotely.
