Gigabit ethernet switches

Gigabit Ethernet switches have a maximum throughput of 125MB per second. This makes a gigabit switch 10 times faster than a switch with fast Ethernet. This makes gigabit network switches suitable for seamlessly connecting different devices simultaneously. With Gigabit Ethernet, you can send a 2-hour HD movie in just over 16 seconds. Since gigabit Ethernet is the most common standard, gigabit Ethernet switches are the best option for general use.
