This is my first Mac. I was allowed to exchange my defective (Windows8) PC from Coolblue. By the way, I was tired of Windows for a while: slow startup: many updates, virus scanner needed that keeps hijacking the hard disk, processes that you can't stop, etc. etc.
The difference couldn't be bigger: you take the Mac out of the box and after 10 minutes!! is the configuration done and you are gone.
