According to our laptop expert
This Acer weighs only 1.19 kilograms, so it's easier to take with you than other laptops.
You can use Windows Hello and the fingerprint scanner to log in to Windows with your fingerprint without using a password.
Thanks to the backlit keyboard, you won't make as many typos when typing in the dark.
Due to the thin design, this laptop produces noise during intensive tasks.
A 14-inch screen is quite small, so if you often use your laptop in the same place, a larger screen is recommended.
You can use the 14-inch Acer Swift 3 SF314-57-57NU to edit photos with Photoshop while you're on the go. Thanks to the light weight of 1.19 kilograms, you can easily take this laptop with you to work or school in a backpack. Have some extra time to work that important presentation on the train? You can log in quickly and safely with the fingerprint scanner and Windows Hello. On top of that, you won't be bothered by the sun reflecting on your laptop. That is because the anti-glare screen doesn't show any reflections. Did it get dark and do you still have to do some work? Since the keyboard is backlit, you can see exactly which key you're using.

Battery life
Speed
Design
I bought this laptop for online school (university). The battery life is really good, if the laptop is on all day and if I have online lessons, it also lasts all day. The fans work well. They are never blowing hard and the laptop does not heat up quickly, and when it does get warm it is at most room temperature. For online lessons I use programs such as Microsoft Teams, Kaltura and Zoom and this laptop can handle that very well. The design may not look very nice on the product photos, but in reality it is not that bad. I had to get used to the keyboard a lot. Before this I had a Dell and an HP and this keyboard is a bit flatter and the keys are a bit further apart in my opinion. Still, it is a nice keyboard with which you can type quickly and error-free. The sound sounds a bit hollow, but this is (for me) no reason not to buy the laptop. If you put on headphones or have earphones in, you won't be bothered by this. Watching Netflix or lectures without earphones is also just fine. The laptop is light and easy to take to school. The fingerprint scanner does not work half the time. You really need to make sure the scanner is clean and so is your finger. It's annoying to pay attention to that all the time, but it's a handy addition to a laptop. As far as I'm concerned, this is a good laptop to buy for school if you don't have an expensive Macbook or Dell or the like. want to buy! Highly recommended!

Looks nice and was easy to install. Nice keyboard. In the back are some sort of grooves that make the design beautiful, but (I think) can quickly become ugly, but I haven't had the laptop long enough to know for sure. Otherwise satisfied.

Handy size and light weight laptop to take with you. Good speed, good screen and can take a beating due to aluminum housing. An excellent laptop for non gamers and people who do not need extra storage.
