The ConceptD Pro is a very fast laptop with a lot of memory; perfect for my purpose, software development. It's actually a laptop for graphic professionals that's why it has such a nice, calibrated screen in it, I don't use it but it looks nice :)
What's unfortunate is that there are some weird design flaws in it; the edge on which your wrists partly rest when typing is relatively sharp, which is not pleasant. The power connector is in a weird place in the middle right and there are no caps-lock and num-lock indicators in the keyboard. The case is also very prone to greasy fingers.

Even with simple tasks such as playing a Youtube video, the fans of the video card go to a higher speed, this is very audible / unpleasant, especially in a quiet workplace (for imaging; I walk away from my laptop for a phone call).
I traded in the Acer Predator Helios for this twice (because the noise level suggested something was wrong). Unfortunately, a laptop with a better video card just makes more (much) noise. The ConceptD has not been returned for this (it is also not in my nature to return a laptop up to 3x).
In terms of performance, there is nothing to complain about (of either). The Predator Helios seems to respond a little faster to everything and also has a 17.3" variant in the same price range. The 15.6" in combination with the 4k is a bit uncomfortable for me in connection with a dual-screen setup (the laptop screen has a recommended magnification of 250% for good/normal viewing.
The settlement / customer contact with Coolblue was excellent in this regard. They thought about a solution and exchange was no problem at all.
