We have been using the washing machine for about 2 weeks now and are very satisfied with it! Washing result is just good as it should be, but the laundry also seems to come out of the drum a lot drier than with our previous washer-dryer combination, even though it is a normal washing machine! The centrifuge is a lot better, which is very nice. Furthermore, it is simple to use and everything speaks for itself. The time-saving feature is also very useful. We're amazed at how quiet it is, our baby is sleeping in the next room and I've never had to pause the machine to wake her up, even during the spin cycle. All in all, a very nice washing machine! And Coolblue's service is, as always, top notch, of course.

I have to say, I come from a 20 year old Siemens washing machine with few functions that made a lot of noise, to this AEG. Everything would have been better. I find the noise level to be very good (despite being in the higher noise category). I hear the entering of the water better than the centrifugation at 1600 rpm. In terms of getting the laundry clean, I'm not a picky person, so I don't see much difference. I do notice that this machine works very differently from my previous one: mix soap with water in advance + spray continuously into the washing drum via a spout. I think that does help better with bigger loads to get the soap deeper into the wash quicker. I am also happy that I can lose 8 kilos in this. My previous one was 5 kilos and that was often just too little. I wash 1 to 2 washes (clothing + bedding) once a week for 1 person. That fits fine. What is really a big difference is the 1600 rpm compared to the 1200 I had before. The laundry comes out very dry. That saves a lot with hanging outside, especially with bedding. Another nice extra is the steam function. Quickly steaming a pair of trousers or blouse to get the wrinkles out works well. Or to soften a somewhat hard feeling sweater or hat works well with the steam function..... shrunken stiff wool hat came out reasonably well after a steam treatment. The machine looks and works very stable and solid. Really solid thing. Anyway, I've had it for 2 months now. Hope it lasts at least 10 years with all the technical gadgets. In any case, I am very happy with it and I have the feeling that I have a very good washing machine that I can use in all directions.

Our old Asko washing machine was 22 (!) years old. It was time for a new one. The new washing machine had to be able to spin at least 1600 revolutions and have a steam function (while we're at it). After research and comparisons, we arrived at this washing machine from AEG. We thought it was a good price/quality ratio, the reviews were positive and we thought the white/black design was very nice (the eye also wants something). Now, almost 2 weeks later, I can say nothing other than that I am extremely satisfied with this washing machine. There is plenty of choice of washing programs (although in practice I will only use about 3 or 4 of them, I think). It takes some time to discover which settings and adjustments work best for us. The control panel is very easy and clear. The opening is very large, making it easy to put the laundry in and out. The remaining time of the program is indicated, which is also very nice. The laundry comes out very clean and also seems to come out a lot softer than with our previous washing machine, even though I just use the same detergent. Another plus. When the machine has finished the program, it will emit a short signal up to 3 times and then it will turn off (you can of course still open the door and take out your laundry without having to turn the machine on again). The steam function is also very pleasant. I ran a (real) leather jacket on this program and the jacket came out refreshed, wrinkle-free and undamaged. In terms of noise level when spinning, it does not necessarily seem quieter than our previous washing machine. Washing needs to be done and that just makes some noise. I don't find him noisy at all. It is on our landing and is only played during the day. No inconvenience at all. The only two downsides that I noticed: A lot of water remains in the detergent dispenser after a wash. No detergent, but some water. This can cause a mess if you open the drawer too hard. Another downside is that the glass of the lid protrudes very far. I use scented beads (lenor) with my laundry and I notice that, especially with shorter loads, quite a lot of residue from granules and detergent remains at the bottom of the glass and in the rubber ring. This could perhaps have been done differently in terms of design. I was advised by Coolblue to run a cotton program at 95 degrees once a month, so that all soap and dirt residues are properly washed away. This does not seem to me to be an unnecessary luxury. Small details and all in all I am very satisfied with my new washing machine.
