According to our laptop expert
You can work in demanding programs, edit videos smoothly, or create complex spreadsheets thanks to the Intel Core i7 processor.
You can easily take this laptop with you thanks to its compact size.
Thanks to the spacious 16:10 aspect ratio, you can see more text and get a better overview.
Your laptop slows down when you use the most demanding programs, so you need a more powerful processor.
The keys don't have a backlight, so you can see them less clearly in the dark.

FYI, my previous laptop (and therefore material for comparison) is a laptop from 2018 with an Intel Celeron, 2GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, so any brick is already an upgrade. Nevertheless, while taking a Mathematica (programming language) exam, the piece of antique crashed and so it was high time for a new one. And folks, what a beast this laptop is. Starts up in no time, no problem with multitasking different programs (including MatLab, Mathematica, Netflix) when used in combination with a second screen. The battery lasts an entire college day + 4 hours of train travel from home to uni. The ideal, affordable upgrade for every student.

At first glance I was satisfied. The laptop looked nice, started up quickly and was pleasant to use. But because of the incredibly loud fan I had to send it back. A loud fan is of course not a problem when starting up and updating, etc. But even when I had nothing open and it was fully started, the fan remained loud. Even in sleep mode it kept running loudly. I have owned and used several Acer laptops in my life, including an Acer Aspire 5 around 2017, but have never experienced such an unnecessarily loud fan. I thought something was wrong, so I exchanged it. But the second copy had the same problem. Unfortunately too loud to work on the train, the library or in the office. So despite the size, it is not a pleasant travel laptop.
