According to our laptop expert
With an Intel Core i7 processor and 16GB RAM, you can edit photos and multitask between demanding programs.
With the 512GB SSD, you have enough space for your photos, documents, and other files.
The backlit keyboard ensures that you're less likely to make mistakes when you type in the dark.
For 2D and 3D design in software like AutoCAD, you need at least an i7 or Ryzen 7 processor and an RTX, GTX, Quadro, or RX video card.
This laptop doesn't have a privacy switch, so you can't cover your camera after a video call.
You can multitask with demanding programs like Photoshop and Premiere Pro on the 15-inch Acer Aspire 5 (A515-58M-77FX). Thanks to the 13th generation Intel Core i7 processor and 16GB DDR5 RAM, you can effortlessly edit photos and videos in Adobe programs while running other applications run in the background. Your Acer won't slow down. The DDR5 RAM is also faster and more energy-efficient than DDR5 RAM. Finished editing? You can store your photos, videos, and other files on the 512GB SSD. Often use your laptop at night? No problem. Thanks to the backlit keyboard, you can also find the right keys in the dark.

The Acer Aspire 5 (A515-58M-500C) is a nice laptop that I use for many different tasks. It starts up quickly and responds quickly. It is large enough to work comfortably in two windows next to each other.
Appearance and size This Acer Aspire 5 laptop has a 15.6-inch screen. This makes it on the large side for someone with smaller hands. Because this laptop is a bit larger, I can easily work in two windows next to each other, without it becoming cramped. The laptop weighs 1.7 kilograms, so I take it with me less often and mainly use it at home. It is ideal to put on my desk and work there. Unfortunately, the laptop does not have a webcam slider, so I cannot close the webcam immediately after video calls.
Speed and multitasking I can happily work in a few different programs without this laptop stuttering or crashing. For example, I work in spreadsheets, while chatting via WhatsApp and listening to my favorite playlist via Spotify. I use this laptop for work things, but also for personal use. I also use this laptop for daily tasks, such as watching movies or editing photos. The laptop also boots quickly, which is very useful.
Keyboard and touchpad The keyboard of this laptop has a backlight with 2 brightnesses. This makes it easy for me to continue working in the evening or in a dark room and I don't have to make an effort to see the keys clearly. The backlit keyboard is bright enough, even during the day. The laptop's touchpad feels very nice and responds quickly.
Battery life The battery of this laptop lasts quite a long time. I mainly use this laptop for daily tasks, which keeps the battery full for more than half a day.

Very nice and fast laptop. The only downside is that the fingerprint scanner is missing. This is stated in the specifications on the website and is also clearly visible on the laptop depicted on the product page. Although the fingerprint scanner is missing, I am very satisfied with my purchase.

I wanted a laptop with enough disk space and good speed. I also had a dedicated video card on my wish list. However, I'm not a gamer, so it didn't have to be such a heavy video card that is constantly blaring. This laptop meets my requirements.
