According to our laptop expert
You can play demanding games at 60 fps and stream your gameplay in 4K with the RTX 4070 video card, Ryzen AI 9 processor, and 32GB RAM.
The NPU and AI functions of the AMD Ryzen AI 9 processor adjust the frame rate and resolution to each other automatically, so you always game smoothly.
The 240Hz 2.5K screen provides sharp images and displays fast-moving images smoothly, so you can game at a high level.
If you want to add demanding graphic packs and mods, we recommend at least an RTX 4080 video card.
The keyboard doesn't have RGB lighting, so the laptop doesn't match the rest of your setup that well.
Immerse yourself in the world of AI gaming with the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16 GA605WI-QP055W 16-inch gaming laptop. Thanks to the extra powerful AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX processor, 32GB DDR5 RAM, and 50 TOPS, you can smoothly work in the most demanding programs and stream in 4K. That means you can also use this laptop for demanding work like 3D design, game design, or running very large data sets. Because of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 video card, you can smoothly play your favorite demanding games in Full HD. For example, Elden Ring and Microsoft Flight Simulator. The images move extra fast on the 2.5K screen with a 240Hz refresh rate. That way, you can see your opponents moving before they even see you. This allows you to play shooters at esports level. Want to continue gaming in the dark? Turn on the white keyboard backlight so you don't make mistakes during your online session in the evening.
Note: some Copilot+ PC functions require a free update. This update will be available early 2025.
Note:
always connect the charger while gaming, or your performance won't be as good and the battery will run out in a few hours.Receive an email with a personal voucher code for 1 free year of Norton 360 Deluxe antivirus 24 hours after purchase, worth € 94.99.

The design of this laptop is stylish, although I would have preferred it to be a bit sleeker. As a former MacBook user, I am used to high build quality, and this laptop comes surprisingly close to that, comparable to the Dell XPS series. The aluminum casing feels solid, although there is still some flex in the chassis, especially when you lift it by one corner.
The hardware is excellent. The combination of CPU and RTX 4070 performs perfectly in graphics programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator and 3D software. Games run smoothly on high or ultra settings at a resolution of 2560x1600. The LCD screen is bright and sharp, but has the known drawbacks such as slight light leaks and mediocre black levels. Despite these drawbacks, I am satisfied with it, because an OLED variant with comparable specifications was not available in this price range.
The fans remain fairly quiet, but often start spinning when the GPU is active, even during light tasks such as Photoshop. A BIOS update fixed the issue where the laptop would not properly enter standby mode when closed.
