A nice upgrade for my over 5-year-old iPad, which still works perfectly, but the memory is now filled with mostly system updates, preventing security updates. Time for a new one then.
The first thing you notice is the size; this iPad is a bit larger with smaller bezels. As a result, the traditional home button is gone; it's now integrated into the lock button (including fingerprint). This took some getting used to, as I now use "home" with my left hand instead of my right. But otherwise, it works perfectly :)
The iPad is fast and switches smoothly between different apps. It has a clear, large screen and feels sturdy. The battery life could have been better; in standby mode with occasional app use, it lasts several days, but with games or TV shows, you have to grab the charger after a few hours. Another drawback is that a new charger isn't included.
Conclusion: If you're ready for a new iPad, this is a great option.
