Apple iPad (2025) 11 inches 128GB WiFi Yellow

Cheap model, but still value for money.

A nice upgrade for my over 5-year-old iPad, which still works perfectly, but the memory is now filled with mostly system updates, preventing security updates. Time for a new one then.

The first thing you notice is the size; this iPad is a bit larger with smaller bezels. As a result, the traditional home button is gone; it's now integrated into the lock button (including fingerprint). This took some getting used to, as I now use "home" with my left hand instead of my right. But otherwise, it works perfectly :)

The iPad is fast and switches smoothly between different apps. It has a clear, large screen and feels sturdy. The battery life could have been better; in standby mode with occasional app use, it lasts several days, but with games or TV shows, you have to grab the charger after a few hours. Another drawback is that a new charger isn't included.

Conclusion: If you're ready for a new iPad, this is a great option.

Setting up from another Apple device is a piece of cake, very simple and clear. The size, form factor and design are nice and solid. iPad is fast with the A16 chip. The screen is good, but can reflect a bit more in sunlight. You have less of this with the Air version, which is also slightly thinner, but is more than half as expensive. The 'basic' iPad performs excellently in daily use and is recommended in my opinion. What you get is in balance with the price. Excellent all-rounder for versatile use.
