A good oven with many options. Steam really adds something extra compared to regular oven functions. For example, the edges of a quiche are much fluffier than in our previous oven. There are many programs that take some getting used to (you no longer set a specific setting, but choose a program), but they're logical and the results are good. They're also probably very energy-efficient; for example, if you use the timer, you can see that the oven switches off in the final phase to finish baking using the residual heat. However, I would have liked to know, for example, what the actual temperature and steam settings are for a bread program (ideally, you only want steam for the first 15-20 minutes and no more after that, but you don't know exactly what the program looks like). The oven works perfectly even without the app. I couldn't find any real negatives.

Installation was easy (although the instruction drawings are a bit vague). Our oven turned out to be making a strange rattling noise. We reported it to Coolblue. As far as I'm concerned, a technician should have come; it was probably just a problem with a fan. But the next day the oven was already exchanged.

We're convinced it should work, but it's all too new and unclear for us. There are no useful videos or instructions on how to interpret and use the menu or new terms like steam-pro.

We'll take the AEG steam course. Maybe that'll put us on the right track.

As an oven, it works perfectly fine otherwise.

In itself, a very, very good oven. Easy to operate and very intuitive. The cleaning programs are ideal for those who don't want to constantly clean their oven, and the light inside, which can stay on permanently, allows you to keep a close eye on your food. It is also nice that the app sends notifications to your phone when the timer is running out within a minute, ensuring you are ready perfectly on time. The oven also tells you when it needs descaling based on your water hardness (and you get a test strip to set this correctly).

It is a shame that the touchscreen is positioned in such a way that the control panel fogs up when you open the oven. As a result, it not only works less well, but you also end up with constant dirty streaks on it. You keep having to clean.

The oven beeps for water with every (steam) use, regardless of whether there is still water in it. Because you cannot remove the reservoir but have to refill it via a small inlet, you sometimes end up fumbling with a measuring cup. It holds about a liter of water. All in all, a really great product that I would buy again in a heartbeat.
